Never heard of the show, but I did watch her in the movie 'Tomorrow, When The War Began' and she was pretty good.

Faye Chamberlainmight be The Secret Circle’s resident wicked witch, but she isn’t your stereotypical bad girl. Sure, Faye’s snarky and sassy, but Phoebe Tonkin assures viewers that there’s more to her character than meets the eye.

“I wanted to stay away from the two dimensional, snarky, sarcastic, b*tchy character,” Phoebe tells Hollywood Life. “If you do that for so long, it kind of gets boring. You want to show multiple sides, You want [the character] to be forgiven in episode after episode.”

So who is Phoebe’s ultimate inspiration? The Ringer’s Sarah Michelle Gellar! ”I grew up watching Cruel Intentions,” Phoebe reveals. “Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character [Kathryn Mertreuil] inspired me. Her repressed sexuality, that kind of very controlled mannerisms, and things like that. [Her mannerisms] definitely influenced my portrayal.”

Let’s just hope Faye doesn’t start keeping a vile of cocaine in a crucifix necklace like Kathryn. ‘90s flashback shudder!

You should watch her on secret circle because she plays the heck out of faye. Faye is by far my favorite character in the books and the show.(:

Dawn Chamberlain is her living Mother
Thomas Chamberlain is her deceased Father
Henry Chamberlain is her deceased Grandfather [Killed by her Mother through Magic]

Faye is my favorite of the group!

I'm always a sucker for the bad seeds! True, she isn't entirely bad, but she does take on that "I Don't Give A Bleep About My Reputation!" sort of vibe off, and I love her for that. I instantly was loving her character persona since the Pilot episode, and I think many fans will be drawn to her.

In my opinion, to the naked eye it would look as if Faye would be the one who would cause the circle problems by using dark magic in the future, but my theory is that it is just a throw-off to later surprise viewers that it is actually Diana. Who wouldn't suspect Faye? And who would suspect Diana. Faye's Book of Shadows is the one I am most interested to see, but I'm wondering...is Dawn still keeping it for herself?

I love that Faye was against binding the circle, and since her mom was all for it...well, let's just say I see a face-off on reasoning of why there later in the season[s]. Vowing to be a solo act was a smart move, I just wish someone else would get on board with her so the duo [whomever] can practice magic and spells.

Intriguing one. I love catching her accent slipping...she tries hard but that Aussie accent is just too powerful to suppress for long. I knew the second I heard her go on a rant that she's from Australia.
