I'm not really a professional, I don't think I will ever be. I just like playing around with different techniques. The original idea started out with a new layout for me LJ. For the header, I wanted it to blend seemlessly into the background color which was going to be black. I found some of my favorite pictures of Charisma Carpenter and blended them together, added a couple of gradients set to different blending modes, and added some sparkle and whimsical brushes to it. Then when that was done, I erased the edges of the whole image, blending it into a black background and I got my header. I did the same thing with the others that I did: Rose, Shannen, Alyssa and Holly plus an Amber Benson one too.

I made a new header for LJ as well with matching icons that I'm not using it right now.

EDIT: A Call to Arms Icon Set added

Those are awesome! I especially love the first Piper/Leo icon, and your Power of Four headers are beautiful!!
