I was totally thinking the same thing as a previous poster. Rory wants to go back to Yale deep down, but that would be admitting to everyone not just Lorelai but Logan and Paris and even her grandparents that she was dead wrong. You could see how she totally regrets it bec. she keeps making a point of telling everyone how wonderful she feels about not being in school this year.
I felt that Logan was a bit off but I think its bec. he has to act concerned about Rory not being in school and that's not usually Logans type of thing. He's usually really care free. I cant wait to see the confrontation bt. the Huntzbergers and the Gilmores. WW III here we come!!! |

Yeah, I cant wait for that confrontation, either. I wonder if Rory and Logan will be there when it goes down. Because that would be really interesting.

well, maybe Rory would is not ready to admit her mistakes yet, but in some point, I think Lorelai was really wat too fast in her decision. She should've known her daughter better.
In the WB screencaps for 6.04, did you see the pic where Lorelai is looking longingly at Rory? the fight will not last for much longer. I tihnk after 6.06, its not even a fight anymore. Its just who will be brave enought to apologize to the other? |

I think that had Lorelai played along with Rory's game of not going back to school Rory would be back in school already. Like Paris said she would have worked some of her "Supermom" tricks on her. Not that I'm blaming Lorelai or anything. I think she's right to play tough love a little. But we all know how much they miss each other. Tough love aint gonna last long.

Added Casting Sides Info for 6.07
The following was just released with a re-publishng of the Casting Sides for Rev. Boatwright.
The Sides didn't change but apparently Amy and the Gang wanted to specify the type of Reverend they wanted. You can imagine the Holier than thou - Righteous types that may have auditioned. The following is the verbatim addition: ADDITIONAL PAGE TO INCLUDE WITH SIDES FOR "REV. BOATWRIGHT" ON GIMORE GIRLS-EP. 2T6307 NOTES FOR REV. BOATWRIGHT: THE PRODUCERS ARE LOOKING FOR AN INTERPRETATION THAT IS WARM AND RELATEABLE[SIC] AS OPPOSED TO TALKING DOWN TO "RORY." CONVERSATIONAL AND NOT A SERMON. It's interesting that most of the people (not including the main cast, e.g. Lorelei, Rory, Emily, Richard, Luke, Logan, & Lane) are caricatures of real types of people. I always liked this about that show. Kirk, Patty, Babette, the women of the DAR, the maids, Logan's friends, Lane's friends, Mrs. Kim, even Sookie - they are all over-drawn portraits of characters. But in the case of the Reverend they want a very warm normal conservative guy. I just find that interesting - Of course the Rabbi and the priest in Stars Hollow were pretty normal guys too. I love all the scenes with them in it - they were so funny - eating lunch together at the dinner. And the priest saying "Oh thank God" when Luke and Lorelei go to jam the bells.

I know I've stated some of my reservations about Logan/Rory but man, I must admit, Matt is one nice looking guy. He is very handsome, I find myself all kinds of shallow whenever he's on the screen.
I want L/R to be there whenever Logan's parents and R/E go at it. Should be quite amusing. |

I say they're from when Paris comes to talk to Rory while she's having her party planning moment. And Rory standing up and on the phone is when she's talking to Logan. Maybe she gets more phone calls while having dinner with Richard and Emily is she's there. |
