Does anyone else read EW? I love this mag...it's the only mag I subscribe to that's worth owning EVERY issue. I especially love their double issues like their annual photo issue, Oscar/Emmy coverage issues, the annual "must" lists, and the upcoming movie/TV/music preview issues. Their fall TV preview issues are definitely a must have...got all the latest juicy scoop on all of the new fall shows and old favorites.

I do!! I just got my copy where Joss Whedon wrote up an article pimping the VM DVDs, which was the best thing ever.

EW is awesome - it's probably my favorite magazine. I love how sarcastic they are!

im so addicted. i dont agree with them on everything... (ie. they gave napoleon dynamite and thumbsucker C+'s) but its so much fun to read. its a good mix of articles that you can actually read, and things that i can laugh at- (the shaw report)
i havent been getting it recently... i reordered it over the summer, but it hasnt come... so sad

Yeah, I don't really agree with their reviews half the time but I love the mag as a whole. Besides, I never really pay much attention to or take critic reviews very seriously.

true, me neither.
the photo one was pretty cool... i liked the part about the photos they didnt put in more than the main photo part... why do they do a photo issue?
but i do love that they love 'my name is earl' and 'arrested development'

This is a magazine I always enjoy reading. It's about entertainment, without being too tabloid-like.

Also, the photography in this magazine is to die for. I love the photographers who take the portraits. Especially the ones who do themed photoshoots.

What I'm not too crazy about is King's column at the end of the magazine. The topics he writes about, you can tell just by reading the columns that he lacks the knowledge/qualification/background to write about them. This guy seriously doesn't know what he's talking about when writing about film or television. Thus, making his columns a real waste of space and absolute BS. I would have preferred a more qualified columnist to write these columns, rather than a hotshot horror writer.

Hmmm, sometimes I agree with what King has to say, but of course it all depends on what he's talking about.

Oh yeah, that section is hilarious! Also the list of the top 10 popular entertainment topics being discussed each week always cracks me up.

i did love thier special on sports movie some of it i dis-agree but it was good... it saddens me that Walk the Line got the cover and not Harry Potter

^I just read that (the sports movies). I really want to see 'Love and Basketball' now.

On the other hand, I was happy that Walk the Line got the cover!

It was a good article. Besides, didn't Harry Potter have a cover like a month ago?
