haha, I think sweden has been mentioned in the simpsons too, but mostly pics...
I found these convos Homer: "Can I fight human style? By slowly poisoning his environment until he loses his fur and becomes sterile?" Farfar: "You cowardly swede! You face that bear like a man or I'll never speak to you again!" Lisa: "Look, in the Swedish public schools, students grade teachers on their performance Farfar: "The Swedish are coming! The Swedish are coming!" Marge: "Oh lord. Why do they keep changing his medication?" Marge: "I'll be right back." Farfar: "They got lingonberries!" Marge: "Homer, why are you laughing?" Kidnappare: "He has the Stockholm syndrome. He has come to identify with his captors." Homer: "They let me stay up all night." Marge: "Well you won't be doing that at home." Grandpa: "Three wars back we called sauercraut liberty cabbage, and we called liberty cabbage superslaw. And back then a suitcase was known as a Swedish lunchbox. Of course nobody knew that but me." Marge: "Ok, we've got cocktail weenies and Swedish meatballs." Marge: "Maybe we could see something a little more adult?" Homer: "Why Marge, you frisky little devil. We'll take two tickets to The Stockholm Affair." Marge: "Ooh, the paper called it a top political thriller." Homer: "Political? Oohhh...." Marge: "Well, come on you two. Don't forget about the film festival!" Bart: "The what?" Homer: "Sorry. Bart, your mother bought us tickets to some snooty movie directed by some Swedish meatball." Bart: "Oh no." Marge: "You brought food." Selma: "Just a few things. Swedish meatballs." Patty: "Mm-mmh." Cosell: "The American, Drederick Tatum does a triumphant turkey trot over the supine Swede." "Don't worry, Marge. America's health care system is second only to Japan, Canada, Sweden, Great Britain, well, all of Europe, but you can thank your lucky stars we don't live in Paraguay!" "C'mon, honey! It'll only be until we finish our tour of Sweden." Moe: "Another Duff Homer?" Homer: "Naah... it's Friday night, Moe. I want to try something special." Moe: "Ah sure sure. Here you go. Düff, from Sweden. Hehe." Homer: "Skoal! Wait a minute, this is Duff!" wow, that´s alot

ahaha!! Liz, I'll put you on the list
is it okay if a type Lizzie, so we don't have all this confusion?Liz(_86) I understand. I understand swedish better than danish cos we have swedish television channels and hear alot of swedish. So I understand almost everything. I feel like its another version. You get what I mean? Like we have nynorsk(a different version of the standard written norwegian) so were pretty used to different dialects.. Not that I think swedish as a dialect, just that its very similar to norwegian. The big boobed stereotped swedish women on simpsons.. like I didn't see that coming.. and not all of the swedish are blonde! Its the same with norwegians!
