(I am not really sure why I even bother to come to school anymore. But at least I stuck it out today, unlike yesterday. The stares and the whispers were getting easier to cope with every day. Plus it was easier than staying home alone in Casa de Killer. There were bad memories lurking around every corner of that ginarmous house. But the memories weren’t as bad as the things my imagination allows me to conjure up. My father and Lilly. Together right in front of my nose and I never noticed. I should have...payed more attention. Maybe then, I would have been able to save her.) ::Logan shakes his head and tries to put Lilly and his father out of his mind.:: (I am not sure why I still miss her so badly. It’s not like she ever loved me. Not in the way that I loved her. But, I always knew that. Still. I would have died for her. Part of me did die, when that bastard bashed Lilly’s head in with that ashtray, and I still haven’t figured out how to pull together the remaining pieces.) ::He passes Weevil and his motorcycle which is parked next to Logan’s X-terra.:: ::And...apparently I am not the only one whose thoughts are still full of someone who has been dead for years. Did Weevil just mumble Lilly’s name? Normally I'd just ignore him, but he there is one thing he and I have always shared, no matter how begrudgingly.:: Weevil: "Are you okay, dude?" Then he mock whispers "Do you see dead people?"

::Logan throws his head back melodramatically and laughs. Then he tries to look solemn, an eyebrow arched towards Weevil questionably:: Weevil: “I am sorry, was that not a joke?” ::Logan’s hand flies to his mouth in a mock *gasp* motion:: Weevil: “The last time we met I remember you ending up face down in the pavement in about three seconds flat. Passed. The. Hell. Out. Besides, I don't see all your cronies here to back you up there, Paco. I know you have this tough guy thing going on for you, but I have never known for you to fight a fair fight, and it’s not 12 to 1 today. But I am game if you are.” (I can tell by Weevil’s face he’s not up to taking that bait, though. He looks tired. Haggard, even. Part of me - - the part of me that realizes Weevil misses Lilly as much as I do feels empathy somewhere for that. But a larger part hates him for thinking he even has the right).

After his "encounter" with Lilly he's just not up for it. They're fighting for one reason, a reason that not around anymore and never really cared for either of them.:: (I don't care what he thinks. I loved Lilly and that's that. He did too maybe, but she's gone now because of his dad. Prooves she really didn't care about anyone but herself....and Veronica, maybe.) Logan: Whatever. ::Logan resists the urge to wipe that smirk off of his face. A year ago and Weevil would be eating his fist for a comment like that. Now, Logan has come to see the truth about Lilly. He loved the hell out of her, and he's sure Weevil did too, but she never really loved anyone save herself.:: Weevil: Yeah and how long did that last? Two weeks, three? We were both toys to her, dude. ::Logan drops the sarcasm from his voice, and says the next part to the ground not looking in Weevil's eyes:: Weevil: I miss her too. Regardless of what everyone thinks - I am not my father. I know I am an asshole, but I would never cause this kind of pain in anyone else's life. :He looks up and looks Weevil in the eyes for good measure:: Weevil: I didn't kill your friend. ::Logan spins on his heels and makes his way to his X-terra.::
