He's not actually trying to hide the Logan going to London spoiler, is he? Cause that was even initially spoiled by AS-P herself.

He's not hiding that, he said that on paper it doesn't look too happy because he has to go away, but it is.

Yep. that's in keeping with the prior comments of spoiler sources stating that there was something about the R/L goodbye scene that they wouldn't/couldn't reveal. Add to that Kristin's comment on E! (she apparently watched the R/L scenes in the finale being filmed) :"Let's just say, that I would be shocked if Logan is not back next year" (emphasis was added by Kristin in her blog, not me), and we have fairly good evidence that a "twist" to the scene exists but has yet to be unearthed from spoilers. From Kristin description and interview with AB and MC, it's fairly clear Logan does leave for London. My spec on the "twist": Before Logan leaves, R/L get engaged. Such a twist would probably have been the origin of that R/L rumor a few weeks ago (the elopement/marriage foiler).

Hence, the not-as-of-yet-revealed "twist".

I am not going to be worried. Logan is going to London, that has to have some reason, in my opinion He is going to be back soon...

I want to know if there is a time skip before 6.22. It is impacting my speccing all the way around! I was just thinking that perhaps Logan decides to head off to London, per his Dad's request, because he knows Rory is going to be busy her senior year. This way, he has done what the parents want, the girl they don't like ("But not because of your mother." Thanks Shira.) hasn't held him back, and after a little while he can make some demands from the family. I think this would be an excellent plan. One a certain list maker might even agree with, one they might come up with together while he recuperates. Of course, I fully expect for them not to follow the plan, because hey...MC has a contract. But then they can play up the whole "my life sucks without you by my side" angle. They did it 3 episodes with L/L. ANd really, I don't think I have ever seen Rory or Logan pine for the other one. I like a limited amount of pining. If they are going to be "the ones" for each other, I would like to see that element of "true love." Right now, I hear Rory say she loves Logan, but I'm not really buying. (Not because of some other love or whatever, I think it might be in the delivery/SL.) She has been very "whatever" about him for a while. Maybe next week I will finally get to feel some of that from her. (I have actually picked up more of that from him.) I think a little separation will amp up the "romance" aspect, because then everyone can look forward to the reunion. After all, this is meant to mirror 4.22, right? And L/L gave good reunion before they were even together. Imagine Sophies, the reunion you could get! I think I actually like that development in SL, since we know it is temporary. (See, knowing about things being temporary or not is why I love spoilers.)

okay so logan is still going to london...and rory and logan are on pretty good terms. now since he didn't say, "they ended on pretty good terms" or that they are on good terms.

i'm just really confused right now.

There should be a Time Jump into 6.22. In 6.20 Logan is in the hospital with broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung; in 6.21 the spoilers indicate "A protective Rory nurses Logan" who has come home from the hospital. If by 6.22 he's well enough that he can go to his graduation and then get into a plane for London then it should follow that there must be a time jump between 6.21 and 6.22. Some people have speculated that perhaps the finale is set in or around June 3rd (a date that has been mentioned a gazillion times this year).

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, what Ausiello said was that R/L are on "very good terms". We have also his "very happy place" comment for R/L in 6.21. And, as wej5541 said, Ausiello, like other spoiler sources have stated, said that he has a spoiler for the R/L goodbye that he won't give away, and hinted that this turns what seems, at least on paper, a "sad" scene, into a "happy" one. Considering the earlier foilers about elopement/marriage, I'm speculating that perhaps the "happy twist" is that R/L get engaged before Logan leaves for London. We shall see.

Ausiello has a spoiler but won't give it? Isn't this, uh, his job? I get that he's not allowed to give every spoiler he know, but why did he say he had it in the first place? Just to get people agitated (like me)? For things like that is why I so don't like Ausiello.
Now, he said that the cliffie is "happy". the ep description says it's bittersweet, and the spoiler sources know things they aren't allowed to say. What.the.hell will happen? Such a secret! I'm nervous! I'm anxious! Screener, anyone?

I agree about the time jump, but Yale's graduation is by the end of May, isn't it? I know AS-P isn't very into the real facts, but I think the finale should be placed around that date...

An engagement would be ok, but they should celebrate their engagement, not going through the angst of a separation. I would love an elopement, though. Not happening, sigh. But there's gotta be something big if the scene is happy. There aren't many ways that they can make Logan going alone for a year to London happy.

My speculation is that they get engaged right before he leaves for London. That way Logan still leaves, and they are happy.

Kate,
I looked it up yesterday, Yale's graduation is May 20 - 22. People are thinking that they will ignore reality and have it be June 3rd anyway.

I think that has to be a jump time since the end of 6.20 until 6.22... Logan couldn't go to London 3 weeks after the accident.. I wait more or less a month of time lost between all the episodes + the 3 weeks in the episodes and I wait 7.01 starting the next minute. Lorelai says in the last moment of season 6 "We"... the next season could see.. "We were together?" "We had sex?" "We got married?" "We was so drunk, thanks for let me sleep here"... "We have to talk".. "We did nothing..Right?".. or whatever.. and maybe Rory running to airport to go with Logan or Logan returning to the apartment. A couple whom have survived all th ething that LOgan and Rory have lived is a couple that have to live together forever.

I looked it up too , but they could do a little bit of research, couldn't they? No? Oh, okay. If the finale is in June 3rd, man, what a slap in Lorelai's face. Breaking up her engagement the day she was suposed to marry. Ouch.

I actually wondered if the time jump wasn't a bit more further along then June 3rd, that much mentioned day. I could actually see Lorelai wigging even more, if they still hadn't set a date. I also think Logan sounds like he is in terrible shape, I don't think even his cranky dad would put him on a plane if he was THAT injured. God this run up to the finale is killing me.
