Gilmore Girls - Spoilers & Speculations #123 - Page 2

Ack, me too, CoffeeIV! They have a pretty maintained thread over at TWoP for the Gilmore Girls attire, and I frequent it. That top made me think: Lorelai misses Luke! The plaid, the plaid!

It's hard to compare the past. In the past, Luke didn't seem AS aware of his feelings, and neither did Lorelai. When (I hate saying when, and not if, but anyway) Lorelai marries Chris, do you think Luke will give them a gift of any sort? I always loved the chuppah. Especially when the two of them stood underneath it together, it was amazing. However, as LL aren't even speaking, why would he bother?

For our fantastic Christmas themed episode LL are apart, and that's still upsetting. Didn't someone say that they do have a moment? That Lorelai/Luke do talk, or something "big" happens? What episode was that? I'm sure it was more than wishful thinking that I recall that.

I'm completely loving Gilmore Girls this year. I was worried about the dialogue and plots but i haven't been disappointed at all. I love L/C no offense to all you haters who love L/L did. I loved them at one point to but after all the events doesn't L/C just feel right now? It really does to me.

Pity Chris and Lorelai are not gonna last [/sarcasm]

I still think this seaosn has lost something, whether it's just the fact since the pilot we have not had ONE eps where if Luke was in it he did have some contact with Lorelai, even if we didn't see it on screen. Just knowing then have not talked for 6-8 months is just weird for these two, even after the break up. Luke gave Lorelai the option to come back to the diner, she just hasn't taken it yet.

IMO ep 8 L&L will have some contact, maybe she tells him about Paris but he already knows and says he doesn't, giving his congrads but she can she he is hurting. I'm just glad that came ep 10 we finally have something happen with these two again. It might be as small as Lorelai going to the diner for the first time and getting coffee, they may not even talk much. My spec is they do a little, maybe about the other meeting and how Luke was, JMO.

Why is it a crappy promo? To me that was hilarious. And Lorelai's not being any more childish there than she usual acts towards Emily. Just because Chris is there doesn't mean it wasn't in character for Lorelai or anything. She's always tried to avoid FND and always tries to rush emily off the phone whenever they're talking. To me that's old-school Lorelai for you.

LOL - Thanks for the promo Jim, I got the email.

So nothing really new, guess next we'll get the DC and stuff.

Ratings for the repeat will be interesting, do the have a "normal" rule to how much they'll go down from the original airing.

ETA - why is Lore avoiding FND, what happened to the new Lorelai who liked Emily?
