TE's

Yes.... I think we should have a thread for TE's (Twilight Experiences). So... when something happens in your life reminds you of Twilight, or you see somebody who resembles a charrie.... Post about it here!

For Example:

In town today, I saw an old Indian guy in a wheelchair... As I was walking by, somebody called him Billy.... pretty much freaked me out, lol.

Haha, that's so cool! I would love to have seen it as well. :P I haven't really had much Twilight experiences, but can I still post something about Twilight even though I don't think it is related to the purpose of this thread? Before that, maybe you should change the name of the thread, seeing as TE doesn't make it very clear that it is about Twilight Experiences. I guess you have a reason for doing that though; probably the name's too long or something. Haha, okay, back to the Twilight experience that I had; I was in Borders, and I saw this girl who looked exactly like Bella from the back. I was so curious that I followed her for a bit -like a stalker; creepy :P- to see if she looked like Bella from the front too. Her eyes and nose were similar, but her lips were too plush to allow her to look like Bella. And her cheeks were a little too chubby too. :P But other than that, a Bella-lookalike. Really scary! But cool! Haha, I wish an Edward-lookalike would appear in my life. *-*

True! :P I can't find someone who would not want Edward to be in their lives. Unless they are utterly crazy or simply not a fan of the perfect male specimen.

I actually have a friend that says that Edward does nothing for her. She's Team Jacob. I get that there are Team Jacob's out there - but come on. How can Edward NOT do something for you at all? Who wouldn't want someone that loves you that deeply? I know that Jacob loves Bella... but totally not the same kind of love.

Exactly! Especially since it isn't as though Jacob imprinted on her or anything. How can that mangy wolf compare to demigod Edward? Lol, or is that just me being biased...as usual? Haha, and even if she loves Jacob, Edward just HAS gotta inspire SOME kind of physical reaction even if you're totally impassive towards the guy. I mean, just LOOKING at him makes my knees weak; as cheesy as that sounds, it's true. :P

I know that I'm older than the "target market" for Twilight, but did anyone else wish that Stephenie put a little more to the intimacy sections of the book? Especially Island Esme in Breaking Dawn? Yep - dirty bird here!!

Haha, I know I'm a little under aged to be saying this, but ME TOO! >.< I'm sorry, I tried to be an innocent girl; really! But all my innocence -and good sense- flew out of the window when Edward came into my life. Haha, who concurs? I know I can't be the only one. :P Or at least, I hope so.

Lol...I can't say that I've had much Twilight experiences. When I was 8, I thought I saw a vampire. Not a beautiful one like the Cullens though. And my brother's name is Edward(sorry girls, he looks nothing like the gorgeous Edward Cullen)...and I'm a bit like Bella in real life. I used to be fairly good at school work when I was in high school and I'm seriously as accident prone as her human self is too lol

While I'm not personally against this idea or anything, I am kind of glad she didn't. There are a lot of younger kids that read these books and I think alluding to the acts is better than actually writing it in full detail for them...

But on the subject... I haven't had any real important Twilight Experiences.. although there is this guy in my philosophy class that has hair that always reminds me of Edward's for some reason O_O I have no idea why...

I agree with Rinnsins on that... If she added a bunch of intimacy into the book, alot of kids wouldn't be allowed to read it, less of a chance of the book being turned into a movie, and all tha junk. That's what imagination's for *grins*.

But the otherday, I saw a boy that works at our grocery store who didn't LOOK like Edward... but he had the hair... so I was just sitting in the car, watching him collect carts, grinning like an idiot...

Is there a way I can change the name of this thread?

I think if you really want that kind of intimacy there are plenty of people who agree with you and fanfiction.net :] They post stories they write based on Twilight there and you can find almost any kind of story you want...

And I don't think you can change the title of the thread Cullenater

You have stories up? What kind?

I'm in the process of writing a Twilight fanfic. I write very slowly because I don't have a lot of time to write stuff but I'm hoping to get my story up there sometime in the future...
