Hey, that would be seriously cool. I would want the cast to remain the same too. It'll be weird if they found some hillbilly to act as Edward. And all the others for that matter. Lol. But I think this television series thing isn't going to actually be picked up by any network. What do you guys think? I mean, I really want it to be picked up, but I don't think it will be, despite Twilight's success.

If you live in the Philippines - you can watch Twilight as a TV show:

I live kinda close to the Philippines! But I don't think I can watch it. And besides, Edward looks so...chubby. *shudders in horror* I'm sorry, and I'm sure that actor is pretty well-known or good-looking in his country, but for Edward? I don't think he makes the cut, as harsh as that may sound. Please don't bash me up. I just think that...well, I hope that the Twilight Cast is so into Twilight that they would sign up for the television series if it ever came up. Though, I have a feeling that Kristen would reject it, after all, she is a rather accomplished actress. What good would it be for her to dabble in television when she's already so experienced in movie-making?

I wonder if who ever is doing the TV show got permission from Stephenie, etc for it? I really do not like the idea of Twilight being a TV show... I know I'm the exception to this thread but I just can't wrap my head around that idea.

I have to agree, if they were to do it, it would have to have the film cast in.

TV series would be amaising. They took so mush away with the film, but TV series would bring everything important out again. The Movie was a big disappointment, but this ...

The only problem I can see with a TV series is that the story or new storylines would be too drawn out and would lose some of the feeling of the book.

I wouldn't like a Twilight series just because I know they'd probably have to use an entirely different cast and it just wouldn't be the same (Because most actors don't seem to want to go into a tv series once they're successful movie stars, though I suppose it's not always the case)
