There were so many times while reading the books where I stopped and went, "Aww" out loud.

The driveway, the coat, the cell phone...

He can be so sweet to her sometimes. God, it just kills me.

When reading the books I have always prefered Sookie to be with Eric and I just did not like Bill a lot (depending on which book) Team Eric

I ordered HBO last week & I am waiting for the DVR to catch up on all the episodes to watch season 2 so I am a little late with saying this, Why did they cut Eric's Hair?????

In the books, Sookie & Eric are like the ultimate couple. There is a never a moment where I don't want them to be together and I hope Charlaine Harris gets them into an official relationship in the next book or sooner because I do believe that Eric loves her (and she loves him, too).

In the show, I love Bill & Sookie together but Eric's manipulative means of trying to get Sookie (IE: calling in Lorena) is just so badass that I'm starting to want the show to really speed up the Sookie & Eric relationship.

I heard there were a bunch of Sookie/Eric moments in the book. That they are the root-for couple, sort of thing.

As much as I love Bill/Sookie. Eric/Sookie is growing on me, especially during the last episode. When Eric was asking about relationships with humans and why people like them so much..

"How does Bill Compton feel about your interest in Sookie?"

I love that Sookie brings out the human in Eric and he's so puzzled by that. It's reeeally sweet. I loved watching their relationship develop throughout the books. I will be so angry if CH doesn't write them ending up together in the books! Lol.

I think it would be good for the show to have something happen between them. I love Eric and Bill so it would be good for me, but you know how when two characters are together too long, they just start to get boring.. I doubt that would happen just because there's so much suspense in this show, but I think it would just be good for the show.

I think that Eric & Sookie are totally meant for each other in the books. He's stood by her so many times when Bill flaked. It will be interesting how the TV series pan out though because the actors that play Bill and Sookie are engaged in real life.
