Why is New Moon at the bottom of the List?? - Page 4

Okay wait I need to rephrase that. i didn't want her to NOT be with Edward, just with Jacob too. Does that make sense?

I definatly agree with most of you... I feel like it is at the bottom of the list for alot of people is becuase Edward was not in alot of it!! The thing that sucks you into the twilight books is the love story between Edward and Bella and New moon cuts you off from that... I like it though because you have to choose your team... Jacob or Edward

At first I didn't like New Moon cause edward wasn't in the picture.. after reading it the first time i started liking it.. he left and i was sooo upset... but i really like it now.. but my fav is breaking dawn then eclipse

i think alot of people are hung up on the bella/edward relationship and just speed through the book looking to find edward again and they don't stop to enjoy the wonderfulness of jacob. stephanie herself says to her fans that they should go back and read it again because noone stops to fall in love with jake who is an amazing character

New Moon is actually now my favorite out of the books, and the first time I read it, I didn't like it all. True, Edward isn't in the book, but the reason I didn't like it is because in nearly every paragraph we are reminded about how much pain Bella is in, and it got old after a while.

But the reason I now like it is because aside from the constant use of the word pain, the overall story is written quite well because it really does describe exactly how it feels to be heartbroken. definitely a sad book to read

I enjoyed all of the books and love Jacob, but I could see why this book would be at the bottom of the list. I think the storylines of the other 3 books are a bit more exciting. I even read that Stephenie Meyer wasn't even going to add the Volturi until her mom suggested that she make the ending a bit more exciting. Plus there are a lot of Edward fans, so they probably don't like that he's not really in this book. But I think even if you are on Team Edward, you should at least appreciate this book because it shows how Edward and Bella are meant for each other and that there's bigger things in store for Jacob.

I thought the book was rather boring... The only part I really enjoyed in New Moon was the ending with the introduction of the Volturi. It wasn't a bad novel, but there was no suspense until the end...
