Yes - so glad it will not be released in 3D, it would ruin the saga.
I found this article quite interesting guys. It relates to the saga as a whole. Anne Rice Calls 'Twilight Saga' A 'Failure Of The Imagination' Source The grand dame of vampire literature, Anne Rice, had some not-so-nice things to say about Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight Saga" universe in a recent interview with New Jersey's The Star-Ledger while promoting her new novel "Of Love and Evil." We're wondering if this will spark a verbal smack-down in the bloodsucking book world! "['Twilight']’s based on a really silly premise: that immortals would go to high school. It's a failure of imagination, but at the same time, that silly premise has provided Stephenie Meyer with huge success," Anne said. "The idea that if you are immortal you would go to high school instead of Katmandu or Paris or Venice, it’s the vampire dumbed down for kids. But it's worked. It's successful. It makes kids really happy." It's not too surprising that Anne had less-than-sweet nothings to whisper about the series that has made vampires the hottest supernatural property around and virtually diluted a genre that had been a sophisticated cultural metaphor. Still, wow, those are some pretty harsh words towards Stephenie! Anne did add that "it's almost like a stroke of genius to put vampires in high school," but that still sounds a bit derogatory to us. When speaking about how she always viewed the vampire, Anne said, "I always thought of the vampire as being a metaphor for the outsider in each of us, the criminal, the predator. I was writing about a mythical being that represented our own dark sides." She added, "Part of the mystery of being a human being is that mixture of the spiritual and the animalian. We have the capacity to murder, but also the capacity to love and respond and be tender to those in need." Anne was sure to emphasize that, despite the range of vampires presented in pop culture since she released "Interview With the Vampire" in 1976—from "The Twilight Saga" to "True Blood" and "The Vampire Diaries"—they are still fictional characters. "They’re fantasy characters, and we have to keep reminding ourselves of this. They don’t exist," she said. "I get e-mails from people who are outraged that I watch 'True Blood.' They say, 'How can you condone the evil of "True Blood."' I say, 'Are you kidding? Vampires aren’t real. Keep that in mind.'"

'Breaking Dawn's' Judi Shekoni reflects on 'Twilight,' Robert Pattinson
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn's Judi Shekoni ("Zafrina") has spoken up about her new involvement with the Saga, and it seems that she has been a long-time fan of the series and is extremely excited to become a part of it. Speaking to PopSugar (video attached), Shekoni explained that she had been a reader of the series long before the first film was even cast, and she was one of those fans who stalked the web for news regarding who would be cast for the role of "Edward Cullen." "I loved it, I mean what I liked the most was that when I read it, I couldn't find anything that was missing from the books . . . I'm totally team both." Judi Shekoni is definitely embracing her role. She the one who talked about going as her character next Halloween. Ashley Greene Chats About Her 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' Shooting Schedule Source "We are kind of in the midst of [filming.]" Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the hit vampire franchise, told Access Hollywood Live's Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Thursday. "I've only been down there for hair and makeup tests and to meet [director] Bill Condon, which was absolutely wonderful," she explained. "But I haven't actually started filming yet... that happens towards the beginning of December for me." The 23-year-old said she's itching to sink her teeth back into the vampire world. "I'm really excited to get down there and goof around with those guys again," she told Billy and Kit. Official ‘Breaking Dawn’ Plot Synopsis Source An official Summit plot synopsis has been released for both halves of Breaking Dawn, the finale in the blockbuster teen-vampire-shapeshifter romance franchise, and should offer insight into the plot for those few that are Twilight movie fans only. In the highly anticipated next chapter of the blockbuster ‘The Twilight Saga’, the newfound married bliss of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is cut short when a series of betrayals and misfortunes threatens to destroy their world. After their wedding, Bella and Edward travel to Rio de Janeiro for their honeymoon, where they finally give in to their passions. Bella soon discovers she is pregnant, and during a nearly fatal childbirth, Edward finally fulfills her wish to become immortal. But the arrival of their remarkable daughter, Renesmee, sets in motion a perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the fearsome council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle. Other Related News: Twilight Star Speaks About Struggle With Addiction My Chemical Romance Reacts To Twilight Breaking Dawn Protested By Rio De Janiero Locals You guys, now I need something back from you. I was doing Prep this morning at working listening to the radio. It was a popular station, and the host suddenly begins talking about Stephenie Meyer coming out with a new novel! All he said is that Stephenie is in progress of writing a new book to go along with the Twilight series - but what could that be? I have looked everywhere on the internet for some sort of news of this, and surely I know this radio host wouldn't just say this on air to make all his fans mad unless he knew what he was talking about. Guys please, if you find any information, even if it's rumored on this please post up!

Hillywood Finally Released Eclipse Parody Watch It On YouTube Here Forks, Washionton Makes Number Three On CNN's List Of Top Five Movie Locations That Are Must-Visits CNN has a list of five great movie locations to visit. Twilight is on the list and is especially prominent in their photo gallery. Minor point is that they feature Forks and La Push and don’t have a single photo up of any actual filming location in Portland, Vancouver, or Montepulciano. We suppose it’s the thought that counts. “3. “Twilight” series, Washington state The Forks, Washington, area has turned into “Twilight” heaven. Visitors can enjoy dinner at Bella Italia in Port Angeles, where Edward and Bella had their first date; stop by Forks Outfitters, where Bella worked; and travel to Forks High School, where the two first met (rumored to be the filming location for the school scenes.) Additionally, the area boasts stand-in homes of the Swans and Cullens and motels such as the Dew Drop Inn, complete with “Bella’s suite” featuring black and red bedding.” That's all for now. Not much to release, but I thought those two stories were worth the telling. This Eclipse Hillywood Parody is said to be the best of all the parody's the group has produced. Also, I am still searching for that 'new book' Stephenie has been rumored on one radio show to come out with, but searches have still turned up blank. I'm assuming at this point that they are referring to the Graphic Novel being release April of next year. However, I have high hopes Stephenie will continue writing. The Hunger Games is about to hit the big screen possibly as early as next year, and if Stephenie wants Twilight to last, a new book is much needed after that best-seller becomes movie fanatic known.

David Slade Talks: Eclipse, Deleted Scenes & More
David Slade Talks: Eclipse, Deleted Scenes & More Source The Twilight Saga's Eclipse director, David Slade, sat down briefly [as all we fans are still hot from the newly release Breaking Dawn pictures], to talk about Eclipse, Bella & Charlie, and what's next for him! A year ago at this time, Slade was only a month into editing the flick. "Finishing the film was a moment of great weight. It's not just getting it cut, it's when the final print is timed and there's nothing more to do," he said. "It was the night before we did our press junket we finished it." Slade's pedigree usually involves music videos and darker indies such as "Hard Candy," however, Slade admits to doing his best with the "Eclipse" DVD to please the vampire saga's legions of fans [and if I do say so myself, those Newborn scenes were seemed very real and frightening]. "This is the only thing I've ever done that's had such a fan subculture, so with the deleted scenes I wanted to do a little justification for them." One major scene cut from the theatrical version of the film was an exchange between Bella and her on-screen dad Charlie. "It's all in Billy's face, when you watch the film 30-odd times or more, there's more in his face than in his words," Slade said. "I was so confident that was going to make it in, we did it in one shot. It was two people trying to be as close to each other as possible." Fans will get to live that moment through the just released DVD version [which recently put fans from 8 to 68 in line in stores everywhere at midnight]. Slade revealed that he will announce his next film in a matter of weeks! "It always surprises me, what can get out there, like I'm doing 'Christine,' the Stephen King story. No, I'm not!" he said. "We've gotten a ton of scripts, 30-odd projects, and one of them was 'Wolverine,' which Darren Aronofsky is doing. I met with Hugh, but felt it was right that they continue together." Shooting is underway for "Breaking Dawn" parts one and two, under director Bill Condon, but one thing is for sure, Eclipse had a lot of heart put into it, one I as well as Slade hopes no one forgets! Legal Action Threatened Towards Twilight Boss 'Impostor' Source Movie bosses of the Twilight series are threatening legal action against a businessman posing as a Summit Entertainment executive and duping cast members into attending screenings. The Executive Vice President of Summit Entertainment, David C. Friedman, wrote recently to New York-based Omar Amanat threatening to sue if he continues to "misrepresent" that he is "currently affiliated" with the production company has worked or is currently working on The Twilight Saga movie franchise. Rumors are surfacing now [that is being said to be stemmed from the imposter himself] that Amanat has screened some of the vampire films at 'charity' events and talked some of the franchise's stars into making appearances. "(Summit is) prepared to take action against you for, among other things, misrepresenting your authority to screen The Twilight Saga: New Moon at a charity event and misleading cast members into thinking the screening was a sanctioned event and soliciting their participation in auctioning off a set visit for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, which Summit had not authorized." "You are not a director of Summit. You are not in any way involved in the management of Summit... Unless you immediately and satisfactorily confirm that you will cease all inappropriate misrepresentations, Summit will have no choice but to pursue appropriate actions against you." Due to the fact that more than half the world loves The Twilight Saga along with Summit Entertainment, and the added fact that the portion of the world know the names and are familiar with saga... Omar Amanat, I'd suggest dropping the act. Are you with me Twilight and Summit fans? Twi-Related Videos Taylor Lautner Talks About Carrying Kristen Stewart Anne Rice Clarify's Opinions Of Twilight Saga & Stephenie Meyer How Xavier Samuel Evolved In Newborn Riley A Message For Fans Searching For Twilight's Main Stars Via Article The Twitters supposedly run by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor, Nikki Reed are all fakes. Ways to tell: mislabeling of photos stating where & when the pics were taken, Tweeting while clearly performing , all created around the same date, claiming they are posting personal photos when in reality are actually recycled paparazzi shots, official sites of actors don’t list a Twitter, etc. Also if they were real, Mr. Uber Twilight Twitter himself, Peter Facinelli, would no doubt mention it. Additionally Summit Entertainment confirms when each actor comes on twitter. They are also such A-list stars that their account would be verified by Twitter right away. So don’t get fooled by the fakes!

Plus Marriage, Honeymoon & Birth Details After the announcement months back that The Twilight Saga's last installment, Breaking Dawn, would be split into two parts, there have been many speculations about the split point. Finally, producer Wyck Godfrey reveals at what point fans will be left hanging, and also gives us some clues to what people can expect to be seen in both installments! "We basically want to take the audience through the emotional part of Bella's journey as she becomes a vampire. The first part will cover the wedding, the honeymoon and the birth," Godfrey reveals in an interview with USA Today. In fact, the film will end just before Bella embarks on her supernatural transformation. The filmmaker goes on explaining how they will maintain PG-13 rating for the next installment despite the torturous birth process. "She is looking through the haze, experiencing pain and everything rushing around her. We only see what she sees," Godfrey says, revealing that the bloody, bone-crushing delivery will be seen only through Bella's eyes. And although Bella and Edward's physical relationship reaches a higher level than what was shown in the first three films, the upcoming movie will not present adult scenes. He affirms, "It does not become soft porn. It is a legitimate and important part of the movie, romantic and sensual." On what is compelling from the first part of "Breaking Dawn", Godfrey teases, "There are the pangs of newlywed tension that occur that are relatable even in a fantasy film. Marriage is not quite the experience that they thought it was." Meanwhile, "the second half is more of an action film in terms of life-and-death stakes." To those wondering whether Bill Condon, who previously directed "Dreamgirls", will insert a musical number to "Breaking Dawn", Godfrey can assure it won't happen. He says there might be traditional dancing at the wedding, before joking "We just had a whole line of actors marching toward the camera. We could have them practice a chorus line with vampires doing kicks." "Breaking Dawn Part I" will storm out in U.S. theaters on November 18, 2011. Summit will later release "Breaking Dawn Part II" on November 16, 2012. Source

Wendell Pierce: Confirmed as a Human in Breaking Dawn “You’re in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn later this year. What draws you to teen heartthrob vampire movies? I never thought I’d get to the point where I’d be one of those actors who says, “I did this for my kids,” but I really did. I have some teenage nieces and a nephew, and they never get to see anything I do. “Yeah, you did The Wire, and I see you in Treme”; and, “Yeah, you guys won the Peabody, that’s nice and that’s cool.” When they found out I was in Twilight, oh my God. “Uncle Wendell’s in Twilight!” What’s your role? I am actually a human. I’m not a werewolf; I’m not a vampire. I’m a human. Source: New York Magazine Stephenie Meyer's Interview With USA Today [Highlights] On the illustrated guide: “My favorite part is the vampire histories. There’s a lot there that’s new. Alice’s (Cullen) back story is one no one has known until now. And I think fans will be surprised at how much fun (Cullen nemesis) Victoria’s story is.” On whether she’ll ever write more books about Edward and Bella: “The story’s already been told, and I doubt I’ll ever write another series based on the same characters.” On the possibility she’d ever finish Midnight Sun: “I’m hoping to do it someday because I know that’s what people want. No matter what book I put out from here to eternity they’ll want Midnight Sun, but I’m just not writing about vampires right now. One question she won’t answer: Whether the werewolf/shape shifter Jacob and Renesmee, the human/vampire hybrid child of Edward and Bella, could ever have children. (Jacob is a teenager, but baby Renesmee is aging at an accelerated rate.) “That is a question I’m reserving the right not to answer, because there is a chance I’ll go back to their story.” Source: USA Today Robert Pattinson Talks MTV.com reports Pattinson as saying, “There’s some interesting and weird stuff going on—very, very, very strange. It’s great. For a big mainstream movie, it’s the most obscure storyline and really outside the box. It’s a horror movie. I’ve seen a few bits, and I just can’t see how it’s going to be PG 13…unless they cut everything out.” According to USA Today, Pattinson dishes on additional film details, including costar Kristen Stewart. The actor says, “She has to have this pregnant suit on all the time, that was probably more annoying for her.” Continuing, Pattinson shares, “I can’t give too much away but there’s some bits, especially towards the end of the movie, she’s just like the polar opposite of any of the other (films). I mean, she’s a different person, which is cool. She looks completely different. She looks probably the most convincing vampire out of all of us.” Sources: USA Today & MTV.com
