It would have almost felt like they were selling out if they would have done it in 3 D, at least in my opinion. most of the movies that are made in 3D, its like they are doing it just so they can get a broader fan base, and given that Twighlight already has so many hardcore, obsessed fans, its just unnecessary.
Thanks for the new thread Essy, Im sure we will get lots of news being they are filming pretty sudden like, and with the DVD comming out in a couple months. |

Source Breaking Dawn director said that he would remain faithful to the book by Stephanie Myers and shoot the honeymoon sequence in Brazil. “They are filming a few days [in South America], but I’m not there. Breaking Dawn director has also officially announced that he will "remain faithful to the book by Stephanie Myers and shoot the honeymoon sequence in Brazil." Also, Shocking Revelations Have Been Released Guys Original Plan For Twilight Movies Revealed Producer Mark Morgan has revealed that the original plan for the making of the Twilight movies was to completely change Stephenie Meyer's best-selling teen romance novels. Morgan said that before the series became a worldwide sensation, Paramount picked up the rights to the script and wanted to rip apart the seams of the narrative. "They had Bella fighting back. They had her father dying in one of the scripts, actually, and becoming a vampire in the first movie. There were a lot of weird things," the New York Post quoted him as saying. "They would have gone for something bigger," Morgan said of the original plan. "Boys. More action...one of their drafts literally had a Korean FBI agent who was hunting and tracking vampires across the coast. According to breakingdawnmovie.org, there’s official breaking news that the directors of the upcoming “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” movie have now started the intense casting process to find a girl to play the young Renesmee character. The official description reads like this: “The casting directors for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I” are now casting the role of “Young Renesmee”. They are looking for a young girl who has some acting experience and is confident on a film set environment. This girl should have self-composure, good physical posture, and be very attentive, able to take direction well, and be quick to react. They also would prefer a girl with dance training. I am so happy we will be seeing Isle Esme shot truly in Brazil. You guys think we will see Edward not being able to control himself and biting pillows? The scene I really hope isn't cut out is when they just arrive. It shows that Bella is still the girl we met in the first Twilight Film. Insecure. Haha, fumbling through sexy nighties packed by Alice! The perfect image will be Bella and Edward in the water with the moon above - please, please don't cut that out! Or at least put it on the definite deleted scenes list for the dvd. Speaking of dvd, As for those original plans - thank Cullens they didn't stick with that plan. It would have completely turned me against Twilight. The movies have made me love the books even more. I am so glad they stuck to the books. What were they thinking anyways? If it's ain't broke, why fix it? Hpmmph.

Christian Camargo (The Hurt Locker, Dexter) will play Eleazar, Casey LaBow (Moonlight) plays Kate, Mia Maestro (Alias, Poseidon) plays Carmen, MyAnna Burring (Doomsday) plays Tanya, and Maggie Grace (Lost) rounds out the family as Irina. I just found this out a couple minutes ago Chloe!
I'm super-excited that the Denali clan has been cast. It feels like we're getting closer and closer to the premiere [even though it's still more than a year away]. One thing is for sure, the press and publicity is on fire for Breaking Dawn! It seems like new news is released every day! I'm not really familiar with any of the cast besides Maggie Grace, which is why I am so glad she is playing Irina. That role is definitely the most important of the whole Denali family, so it's good to see a good actress snag it! It's going to be interesting how she portrays Irina, and I'm also interested in seeing how Tanya is portrayed on-screen. The other members are key, but I really didn't pay them much notice in the book. Mel, I tried searching around but was unable at the moment to find out the exact location in South America for the Honeymoon scene, but when the information does release, I'll post up!
