Now Elena will really be protected because now Damon said ILY the trust should always be there.

New eppy next week and that dude is still alive.

I kinda figured he wasn't dead, he has been around for centuries, mileniums even, he is harder to kill than that.
So true, she has protection,but not sure if that is gonna be enough though. Cause Elijah, he is gonna be out for blood with them.

I can't believe that they were dumb enough to believe it was that easy.

True it might not be enough but now we don't have to worry about the trust. Elena now knows she can trust him because he is so in live with her.

I thought that at first too, but they didn't know anything about him, Elijah, so they wouldn't know he was extremely old and hard to kill. He is so gonna be out for revenge.

I definitely agree--they should've made sure Elijah was dead. And I have to say, I've never been a fan of the whole Damon/Elena relationship, but I definitely felt bad for him last night.

I think for me Damon is so likeable because of Ian. I can honestly say that I doubt I would be for Damon or damon/Elena if Ian wasn't playing Damon. He just adds that love to hate and just the I wanna give him a hug thing. The chemistry that Ian and Nina have is pretty special to.

That Damon/Elena scene in the last episode was so sad.

Damon finally telling Elena that he loves her and then compelling her to forget he ever said it. It's so heartbreaking

"God I wish you didn't have to forget this, but you do."

I can't believe how amazing this season is. Each episode gets better and better

Damon really seems to have grown as a person this season IMO. Him being able to express his feelings like that, I don't think he would have done that last season. He always has been blunt, but he was always the one with the one liners, he is more serious this season.

Watching the episode a 2nd time I realized that Damon made Elena forget. So it probably won't matter.

I'm not for Damon/Elena, but I love Damon, and I think you're right--it's because I'm a fan of Ian.

i'm super glad that they're bringing out klaus or however you spell it cause i was personally scared of him in the books so i really want to see what he's going to look like

In the book he is said to wear all black and not take showers regularly, very dirty. And he has blonde hair I believe.
