3x19: Weevils Wobble But They Don't Go Down
Weevil asks Veronica to clear his name after he's arrested for selling fake debit cards to Hearst students, claiming he's being framed because of his criminal background.

3x20:The Bitch is Back
As the end of the first semester at Hearst College draws to an end, the election for sheriff in Neptune comes to a close and Veronica and Piz discuss the effect a summer apart will have on their relationship.

I thought last nights finale was actually prety dam good. The final episode reminded me alot of season one, return to the dynamics established in the pilot Veronica got her "fighting spirit" back reclaimed her underdog status as a outcast. She had -the Get Tough Get Even Mentality- of S1& S2 using her smarts to get back at the people with some solid undercover work. Best of all the series came full circle. Just as Veronica sacrificed her "life and social standings" to stick by Keith when the whole town was against him. In the finale, even though Keith didn't know exactly why Veronica stole Jake Kane's device. He willingly sacrificed his job to save her from the Kanes. VM seems like a series that is not meant to end on a "happy note." The show has always been about personal sacrifice and standing by your family when things go wrong regradless of the repercussions. Even if wasn't intended to be the finale, returning to those themes provide me with some closure to the series.

I liked it. I had some annoyances (damn you, Capital Region CW, for having a blip during the beach scene... if only it was during the Mac and Dick part instead of like five seconds later - or before, I forget.. anyway it annoyed me, but the show got back and then totally had all this dead air for some time after the final credits rolled, I was annoyed, but thankful it didn't happen that long during the episodes) like Dick trying to kiss Mac (ew ew ew ew, the only thing worse would be Logan and Mac and thank God that's not there) although I did like Dick apologising to Mac and Weevil hiding that box from V (the episode was so good for them...and then he had to do that, oh Weevs, I still love ya though). And the Logan beating up Piz thing. I didn't really like that even though I did think Piz and Veronica looked a bit weird in that whole sex-but-not-really-sex scene.

Now that I got the negatives (with some positives mixed in) that jump out at me out of the way, all good stuff:

The end. I loved it. So totally noir. (Thank you, film professor, for teaching me that water is very prominent in noir!) We totally came full circle. (So many similarities such as the Veronica's slut rep and Keith no longer being sheriff - Yeah we didn't see the election results, but dudes, I don't see how Neptune would vote for Keith.) I can see why they were pushing the VM:FBI thing. Definitely could work in this setting! Oh how lovely. And I must get a mp3 for that song "It Never Rains in Southern California" by Albert Hammond. ETA: Got it!

YES! No canon Logan and Veronica at the end of the series!

Jake Kane and Clarence Weidman! They totally win.

Totally got a vibe of Tritons but college-aged with that frat Wallace was recruited for. Kept waiting for Veronica to shout "Hey everybody! Say 'repressed homosexuality!'"

Well until the HOLY CRAP LILLY KANE PORTRAIT!

Bond and Q working together, whee.

I got a friend to tune in tonight, she'd never seen an ep before. Wasn't sure she watched, but she had some questions after so I'm guessing yes.

Keith loves Veronica and Veronica loves her dad. Unconditional.

Why the hell must it be over?

this was like.. the best VM episode ever.
I was so into it, I think i was just as shocked as V to suddenly see that portrait of Lilly, and then Duncan... I didn't recognize Jake at first, so I was like... what.the.hell.

poor V, about that vid, seriously, that's pretty messed up.

loved the episode. loved loved loved loved loved it.

this is SUCH a good show, it can't be over

I HATE that this is the end.
But I LOVE that if it had to go out - it went out with V kicking ass.
Okay so Logan - how can you not love the ex hunnie who beats up guy the "bad guys", so he doesn't think about his actions he does them. He shows his love and protection for Veronica and has always come through.
Keith, poor poor Keith.
Ah, I've just watched it will write more when I've processed the whole thing

Like everyone else said- that it's the finale- BAD. But if it has to be it totally rocked. Especially Logan he went out with such a bang. He's like, "Ok Veronica if he has connections" and then she turns around and he's beating the guy up. I wish we could've ended with some LoVe. Every character got a role. Things came a bit full circle with the father/daughter thing. For a not-expected-to-be the series finale it was pretty good for tying things up. I would love to see one last episode to tie everything up REALLY though.

So so so sad that its the series finale

. Keep hoping to read that it got picked up somewhere because they set it up for a great season 4. Returning to college and having everyone in Neptune hating the Mars family (both Veronica and Keith). Logan being all angry at the guys who taped Veronica even though he had "connections". I love Piz, but Logan definitely won the award from me and I think Veronica in this episode. Wallace going undercover again for V like the old days. I want to see more! As a finale, it was awesome. But as a series finale, not so much. Too many loose ends. A show ending is sad enough; at least let the viewers have their complete ending. But as always VM delievered

! Also, I loved seeing Veronica get revenge on the sketchy people who videotaped her. Just like Logan did...but a little less fisty and more feisty.

So I finally watched it. I was putting off watching it fro a few days cause I knew once I watched it, it would be over. I hate that its over.

I love Piz. I hated him at the beginning, but I have grown to love him. I'm really gonna miss every character on the show. Piz, Dick, Mac and Wallace are legends in my books. (Who else totally saw potential Wallace/Mac after that episode? I know I did!
