Anne Hathaway Gives Actor Black Eye On 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Anne Hathaway, who portrays Selina Kyle/Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, accidentally hit an actor with the butt of a gun during a fight scene in the movie.
A source said the following: "Anne got a bit carried away during a fight scene and mistakenly shoved the butt of the gun right into the actor's eye socket. He came away with a massive black eye—Anne was mortified."
She felt so bad about it that she gave him a gift. She presented him with a silver pen engraved with words reading, "Remember no one packs a punch like Anne."

I believe it was a stunt actor; not one of the leading men.

oh thats to bad. it would have been a much more interesting story if it was actually one of the actors from the movie. although i still feel bad for the guy who got hit with the butt of the gun. that still had to hurt.

I'm sure that's why they have stunt actors- just in case one of the actual actors knows what they're doing a little too well ;-) haha
