Actor Cliff Robertson passed away on Saturday at the age of 88. Robertson died at Stony Brook University Medical Center on Long Island of natural causes.
Robertson won an Academy Award in 1968 for Charly, in which he played a mentally disabled man who undergoes medical treatment that makes him a genius until he regresses to his former state, as well as John F. Kennedy in 'PT-109'. He is best known among younger audiences for his portrayal as Uncle Ben in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man franchise.
