One week before the premiere of their movie Abduction, Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins decided to call it quits. A source confirmed to UsWeekly that Lautner was the one to break things off, and it was one week before the film's red carpet premiere.

At the Abduction party, it was awkward," the source admitted. "They barely said a word to one another."

The couple was always pretty quiet about their relationship, though Lautner had mentioned it to Seventeen magazine a few months back.

"You can feel some sort of chemistry or a connection when you are reading a script with someone for the first time," Lautner said. "And that was totally the case with Lily."

Now, Lautner "wants to be single for a while...he can properly move on." the source said.
