The Devil Inside delivered strong over the weekend to claim the top spot at the box office grossing $34.5 million. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol fell out of the top spot after two weeks but still held well bringing in $20.5 million. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows also held well, dropping a spot to #3 in its fourth weekend with $14.1 million. David Fincher's The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo stayed even in its third week, holding at #4 $11.4 million. Falling two spots to #5 was Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. The animated sequel grossed $9.5 million.
