NBC has given a green light to J.J. Abrams' new series. The show, Revolution, was written by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke and is executive produced by Abrams and Bryan Burk.

The show is described as "a high-octane action drama that follows a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist."
