The Munsters reboot, called Mockingbird Lane, has cast the role of Grandpa Munster.
Eddie Izzard will play Grandpa, previously portrayed by Al Lewis. He is the first cast member to join the program, developed by Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies) and executive produced by Bryan Singer.
The show is said to be taking a darker approach to the story.

I didn't realize that they were redoing this show. Haha, we'll see who the rest of the cast turns out to be. I don't know how I feel about it yet.
