Hugh Dancy (The Big C) has joined the cast of Hannibal, NBC's new series that gives a contemporary take on the characters from Thomas Harris' novel Red Dragon.
Written and executive produced by Pushing Daisies and Dead Like Me creator Bryan Fuller, the series will center on the budding relationship between FBI agent Will Graham (Dancy) and his mentor, Dr. Hannibal Lecter.
The role of Will Graham was previously played by William Petersen in the 1986 film Manhunter and by Edward Norton in the 2002 film Red Dragon.
