With the two big new releases failing this week at the box office, it was Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted's chance to rule the box office for a second week bringing in $35.5 million to win the weekend. Also holding even for a second week was Prometheus, which brought in $20.2 million. Opening in #3 was Rock of Ages bringing in $15.1 million. Dropping one spot in its third week was Snow White and the Huntsman finishing at #4 with $13.8 million. Absolutely bombing in #5 was Adam Sandler's That's My Boy grossing only $13 million.
