In the newest clip CW has released from next week's Vampire Diaries, Rebekah confronts Matt seeking his forgiveness. She's a tad optimistic though - seeing as how she caused him to run his car off a bridge in the Season 3 finale (Thus killing Elena and almost killing him as well). However, Rebekah seems hopeful that a party invite might bring Matt back over to the pro-Rebekah side.

Ah... the silent treatment. Well-played Matt! Also, maybe Rebekah should try saying "I'm sorry"... Of course that wouldn't make what she did suddenly okay - but it's a step in the right direction!

Also, another bone to pick here. If Rebekah didn't mean to hurt Matt, she would have been diving in the water to help save him after his truck went off the bridge. Just saying.
