Grammy awarded artist, Adele, celebrated her 21st birthday last week in New York City with a special performance at Roseland Ballroom in which she was honored a plaque for her US certified gold record. This year's Best New Artist will also be making a guest appearance on Ugly Betty tomorrow night on ABC at 8/7c. 2009 has been an exciting year for Adele who released her debut full length, 19, in 2008. With an upcoming show, hosted by KCRW, at the legendary Hollywood Bowl with Etta James, Adele also has upcoming features in the Nylon Magazine, O Magazine and Elle Magazine's July music issue.

Adele also released the video for her second single, "Hometown Glory" which is in rotation now (see links below). The song, a favorite among her fans, has generated hundreds of covers posted to You Tube from some of her biggest fans.
