'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson was in attendance last week at the 2009 Comic Con convention in San Diego. While over 8,000 fans lined up to see his afternoon appearance along with his cast mates, Pattinson took some time to chat with the press about what this last year has been like.
"I don't think any of us expected this to happen. And especially it seems to keep building and building - the magnitude of this franchise," Pattinson explained.
When asked if he felt like the attention and fame since the release of 'Twilight' had changed him, the actor replied,"I don't know. I like to think I haven't changed that much. I mean, within myself I don't think I've changed. I guess, when I'm walking down the street I look down a lot more often."
When asked why he looks down the actor smirked and answered, "There's something wrong with my neck."
After the 20 minute press session, the actor was whisked away for more interviews as well as the afternoon's main event - and perhaps the most talked about event at Comic Con - the 'Twilight' panel. Over 6,000 fans were able to make it through the doors to see the cast.
