FanBolt respects its users' rights to privacy and will never disclose any personal information about its users to any third parties. Any information provided to FanBolt by its users will be held strictly by FanBolt. FanBolt does reserve the right to send email to it's users at any time about topics pertaining to the site itself, network sites, or the shows that FanBolt hosts message boards for. FanBolt requires personal information from its users upon registering for an account on the FanBolt network. The only information FanBolt collects is a username (this may be any user name) a password (this password remains confidential and is encrypted, preventing any users on the site, including administrators, from viewing the password), and a birth date. A user may update his or her profile, including email address, location, or password at any time by accessing their control panel. A user may also have his or her account deleted at any time. To do this, please contact an Administrator of the site, via Private Message through the message board system, or via email.
The only time FanBolt will ask for a user's personal information is when a user has won a contest held by FanBolt. Users will be required to provide a correct name and mailing address so that they may receive their prize. This information is used solely for the purpose of delivering the prize and for nothing more.
Cookie Use and IP Logging:
FanBolt logs IP addresses for any user who logs onto any site on the FanBolt Network. This IP address is used to help diagnose server problems, and for security reasons. User's IP addresses are viewable ONLY by site administrators and no one else.
Cookies are also used on FanBolt for the purposes of saving users' passwords so they do not have to log in each time they visit the site, and to deliver content that caters to users' specific interests. They are also used to determine whether or not you are a valid user. No personal information is stored within the cookies, nor do they pose any sort of security risk.
The FanBolt forums provide a message board and chat room to its users. Any information disclosed in these public discussion forums becomes public. Users should exercise caution when disclosing any personal information.
We allow third-party companies to serve ads and/or collect certain anonymous information when you visit our web site.
