Despite being more than two weeks from its opening, "Twilight" accounted for 34 percent of ticket sales at MovieTickets.com on Monday and Tuesday of this week, putting it three percentage points ahead of "Quantum of Solace" (31 percent) which opens Nov. 14.
"Twilight" is boasting impressive 'intent to see' numbers across the board. 77 percent of under-25 moviegoers aware of the movie intend to see it opening weekend, compared to 70 percent of 25 to 34-year-olds, 64 percent of 35 to 44-year-olds and 70 percent of 45 to 59-year-olds.

acacia wrote: I think most people who have read the book plan to see it, and to see it many times and bring everyone they can. The problem is that people unaware of the book dont seem aware or interested in the movie.
