’24’ Movie Delayed Due to Script Rejection

20th Century Fox has rejected a script from Billy Ray for the proposed 24 movie.

“As far as I know, it is in suspended animation,” the show’s executive producer Howard Gordon said, adding, “There is talk about re-approaching it. I understand (director/producer) Tony Scott is meeting with Kiefer [Sutherland] to talk about ideas. People are still talking about it.”

Gordon still thinks the movie will be made though. “I was disappointed [Fox] passed on the script but I’m certainly hopeful that the movie will get made at some point.”

The plan is for the movie to represent two hours of a 24-hour period.
