Weekend Box Office Report: January 14th – 16th, 2011

The Green Hornet took the top spot of the box office in its opening weekend bringing in $34 million. The Ron Howard romantic comedy The Dilemma opened in second place with $17.4 million. True Grit slipped two spots to number three in its fourth weekend pulling in $11.2 million. The King’s Speech rose five spots in its eighth week, hitting #4 with $9.1 million. Black Swan stayed even in its seventh week, finishing at #5 with $8.1 million.
