Marion Cotillard Joins New Batman Movie

Oscar winner Marion Cotillard has signed on for the upcoming Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. Details about the 35-year-old French actress’ role are sketchy, but the movie will reunite Cotillard with her Inception director Christopher Nolan and co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy. The film also stars Christian Bale as Batman and Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (Catwoman’s alter ego).

Shooting is expected to finish around November 2011, which is way ahead of time considering the movie’s release date in July 2012.

Cotillard won an Oscar for her role in La Vie en Rose, and is also expecting a baby April of this year.
