‘Star Trek’ Sequel Update

According to reports production for Star Trek 2 is getting ready to begin. Paramount reportedly wants to get things going to ensure they make their June 29, 2012 release date. Pre-production should begin shortly, and the full production will begin in August.

Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty, posted the following message on his Twitter, regarding the film’s script:

“Word on the bridge is the new script is AMAZEBALLS and I cannot wait!!!!!”
