‘Percy Jackson’ Sequel In The Works

A sequel to Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is on the way. The movie will be based on the second book in the young adult series and will have the same title, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters.

Chris Columbus, who directed the first film, will come back as a producer and no director is set yet. Logan Lerman is expected to return as Percy, along with the other leads. The first film made $226.5 million worldwide on a $95 million budget.
