Weekend Box Office Report: March 11th – 13th, 2011

Battle: Los Angeles claimed the #1 spot at the box office this weekend with an opening take of $36 million dollars. Rango slipped one spot to #2 in its second weekend, pulling in $23.1 million. Amanda Seyfried’s Red Riding Hood opened in #3 with $14.1 million. The Adjustment Bureau fell two spots in its second week to #4 with $11.5 million. The animated film Mars Needs Moms opened soft at #5 with $6.8 million.
