Exclusive: Precious Chong Talks ‘Homewrecker’

Sometimes you just need a friend. Someone to talk to. Someone who will listen to your problems without judgment. A person who will be a shoulder to cry on. Sometimes you also need to handcuff that person to your bathroom so they can never leave you.

That’s what we’re dealing with in the new film by Zach Gayne, Homewrecker. We’ve covered the director’s unique brand of weirdness before with the film States, but this one is something else. A mixture of misery and a buddy comedy, Homewrecker is a surprise. A very welcome surprise. We got to speak with the film’s lead, Precious Chong, about her experience playing an unhinged but sympathetic madwoman. Check it out below.

Homewrecker is available via VOD and digital right now! It is also available on YouTube!

Synopsis:

Michelle is an interior designer and newlywed to Robert. Linda lives alone and fills her days with painting and exercise classes. Seeking a new friend, Linda coerces the reserved, deferential Michelle into visiting her home for a spontaneous interior design consultation. Once inside, it quickly becomes clear that Linda has something far more sinister on her mind than throw pillows.
