Monty Python Making Reunion Film ‘A Liar’s Autobiography: Volume VI’

Monty Python is getting the band back together; including Graham Chapman, who’s been dead for twenty-two years. The comedy group is working on a 3D animated film version of A Liar’s Autobiography: Volume VI, Chapman’s absurdist memoir.

The new film will feature animation segments from fifteen different companies ranging from three to twelve minutes in length, all in a different style of animation. All of the Monty Python members have signed on except Eric Idle at this point, and the plan is to intercut the scenes with Chapman’s voice culled from a taped reading of the memoir he made just before he died.

The picture is planned for a theatrical release in the U.K. next year and a TV/online release in the U.S. via the Epix premium cable channel.
