Theatrical Releases for August 12th: ‘Glee 3D’ Hits Theaters!

30 Minutes or Less, Final Destination 5, Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, and other films hit theaters today! We’ve got the full break down for you below!

30 Minutes or Less (R), Comedy – A small town pizza delivery guy’s mundane life collides with the big plans of two wanna-be criminal masterminds that kidnaps him and forces him to rob a bank. With mere hours to pull off the impossible task, he enlists the help of his ex-best friend as the two must deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers, and their own tumultuous relationship. Stars Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride, and Nick Swardson.

Final Destination 5 (R), Thriller – The fifth installment of the franchise in which teens escape a deadly accident involving a suspension bridge only to later discover that death is hunting them down. Stars Nicholas D’Agosto, David Koechner, and P.J. Byrne.

Glee: The 3D Concert Movie (PG), Concert – A 3D concert movie based on the performances from Glee Live! In Concert! Stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, and Amber Riley.

Senna (PG-13), Documentary – A documentary feature that spans the racing legend’s years as an F1 driver, from his opening season in 1984 to his untimely death a decade later. Far more than a film for F1 fans, Senna unfolds a remarkable story in a remarkable manner, eschewing many standard documentary techniques in favor of a more cinematic approach that makes full use of astounding footage, much of which is drawn from F1 archives and previously unseen.

The Last Circus (R), Comedy – Spain in 1937 is in the midst of the brutal Spanish Civil War. A “Happy” circus clown is interrupted mid-performance and forcibly recruited by a militia. Still in his costume, he is handed a machete and led into battle against National soldiers, where he single handedly massacres an entire platoon.

Vigilante Vigilante (NR), Documentary – A new breed of crime-fighter now stalks the urban landscape: the anti-graffiti vigilante. These dedicated blight warriors stop at nothing to rid their neighborhoods and cities of street art, stickers, tags, and posters. Yet several of these vigilantes have become the very menace they set out to eliminate.
