Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Conan’ Falls Flat

The Help claimed the top spot at the box office this weekend moving up one spot in its second weekend and grossing $20.5 million. Rise of the Planet of the Apes slipped down a spot to #2 in its third week grossing $16.3. Spy Kids: All the Time in the World opened at #3 with a disappointing $12.0 million. Conan the Barbarian fell flat in its opening weekend with a mere $10.0 million gross. The Smurfs slipped one spot to #5 in its fourth weekend with $8.0 million.
