Weekend Box Office Report: ‘The Help’ Continues To Dominate

The Help enjoyed a third week at the top of the box office this weekend grossing $14.2 million. Coming in at #2 in its first weekend was The Debt bringing in $9.6 million over the three-day weekend. Apollo 18 opened at #3 with $8.7 million. Shark Night 3D also opened soft claiming the #4 spot with $8.6 million. Rise of the Planet of the Apes fell two spots to #5 in its fifth week to bring in $7.8 million.
