Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Real Steel’ Stays On Top

Hugh Jackman’s Real Steel stayed on top of the box office for a second weekend pulling in $16.3 million to claim the #1 spot. Footloose finished in a close #2 with $16.1 million. The Thing opened at #3, pulling in $8.7 million. The political drama The Ides of March slipped two spots to #4 in its second week with $7.5 million. Dolphin Tale fell two spots as well, hitting #5 in its fourth week with $6.3 million.
