Lily Collins Leaves ‘The Evil Dead’

According to reports, actress Lily Collins has left the remake of The Evil Dead.

One Variety writer posted on Twitter: “Again, in case you missed it, LILY COLLINS is OUT of THE EVIL DEAD reboot due to a scheduling issue. Agents, start your engines…”

This means the film has no cast. The film will be directed by Fede Alvarez and re-written by Diablo Cody.

Collins was in The Blind Side and Priest. She was supposed to play a character equal to Ash, which was Bruce Campbell’s role in the original.
