Will Ferrell And Mark Wahlberg To Reteam For ‘3 Mississippi’

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are set to start in the new football comedy 3 Mississippi, and Sean Anders and John Morris are in negotiations to rewrite the film, previously known Turkey Bowl. Anders will direct.

The film was set in May 2011 and follows a feud between two families over an annual Thanksgiving touch football game that has happened for fifty years. Ferrell and Wahlberg will play the heads of the opposing families. The two previously starred together in The Other Guys in 2010.

Warner Bros is hoping to start production in September. Ferrell is producing with Gary Sanchez Productions partner Adam McKay.
