Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Brave’ Takes #1 Spot
Brave easily won the box office this weekend, giving Pixar its thirteenth #1 opening in a row grossing $66.7. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted slipped out of the top spot in its third week bringing in $20.2 million. Opening in #3 was Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter opening with $16.5 million. Prometheus slipped two spots in its third week, down to #4 with $10 million. Also slipping two spots to #5 was Rock of Ages, which brought in $8 million.
