Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Ted’ Opens At #1

Ted opened at #1 in the box office race this weekend grossing $54.1 million dollars for an easy win. Magic Mike opened at #2 with $39.2 million. Falling two spots in the face of R-rated humor, Pixar’s Brave landed at #3 with $34 million. Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection opened in #4 with $26.4 million. Falling three places to #5 was Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. The DreamWorks animated film brought in $11.8 million.

  1. I’ve heard religious people were pretty upset by Magic Mike, but I still want to see it myself. Looks like a total girls night out movie 🙂 And I heard great things about Ted too – definitely want to check that one out as well!

It was still good with hot guys in the movie:D… the only problem I found was the storyline was kinda lacking something I don’t know that is just my personal opinion on the movie lol… hopefully when u watch it u have a different opinion on it… it was still worth watching the movie cause of Channing Tatum
