An Extended First Look At ‘Les Miserables’

The extended first look at Les Miserables was just released yesterday, and we have it for you all!

The motion-picture adaptation of the beloved global stage sensation Les Misérables will now hit theaters on Christmas Day. Helmed by The King’s Speech’s Academy Award-winning director, Tom Hooper, the film features an all-star cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Oscar winner Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, with Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen.

In December 2012, the world’s longest-running musical brings its power to the big screen in Tom Hooper’s sweeping and spectacular interpretation of Victor Hugo’s epic tale. With international superstars and beloved songs – including “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Bring Him Home,” “One Day More” and “On My Own” – Les Misérables, the show of shows, is now reborn as the cinematic musical experience of a lifetime.

  1. I am totally excited for this movie, i watched the version where Liam Neeson and Claire Danes in it, about two years ago. But, I’ve never seen an musical version so this story,so it is going to be pretty cool to have finally see Hugh Jackman singing as he’s a Broadway performer.

  2. I am a crazy musical theatre geek. I truly can’t wait for this.. live recording makes it more like a show then anything but of course its been edited and such but still. I love the actors and the music.. will be seeing it at midnight release.

Yeah that’s the right video 🙂 That was the one that was just released, the trailer has been out for a while – you can find that everywhere 🙂 And RayneKitten – I totally agree – I’m really excited to see how the differences in singing live during filming changed the songs. I’m sure I’ll love it!
