Clive Barker Remaking ‘Hellraiser’

Clive Barker just announced on his Facebook page that he has met with Bob Weinstein and pitched a new, darker take on Hellraiser. The two are close to signing a deal that would see Barker himself return to the series he started and write the script based on his own pitch.

He promised the film would not contain a lot of CGI and that Doug Bradley would be back to play Pinhead. The first Hellraiser arrived in 1987 and was written and directed by Barker based on his novella The Hellbound Heart.
