Disney Developing ‘Rescue Rangers’ Movie

FanBolt

Disney is developing a live action/CGI hybrid film for its characters Chip ‘n Dale. The studio has picked up a pitch which will be inspired by none other than Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers.

Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers ran for three years starting in 1989 and had the two characters as running a detective agency that specialized in animal clients.

It included new characters like Gadget and ran alongside Duck Tales and Darkwing Duck. The film will be “an origin story.”

As huge fans of the original Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, we’ll keep you posted as more news surfaces!

  1. I loved Rescue Rangers, but this isn’t a good idea. Live action/CGI hybrids are just cheesy. This needed a purely animated or CGI treatment. It’s going to be really depressing when this comes out and ruins the good name of Rescue Rangers.
