Friends Reunion: The One We’ve Been Waiting for Is Finally Here!

So no one told you life was going to be this way…but this Summer it’s all about FRIENDS! And your friends at FanBolt have compiled all the FRIENDS so you can grab yours and have some fun!

By now you’ve certainly seen the trailer for the “FRIENDS: The Reunion” and already know you’re going to need your friends and lots of tissues to get through the over 90-minute special! We’ve been teased about this for some time and thanks to the pandemic and desire for a live audience, the pause button was hit, but “The One Where They Get Back Together” is finally here, 17 years after the finale and our review will be forthcoming! You can now watch “FRIENDS: The Reunion” and then jump right into the 10 seasons and 236 episodes on HBO Max™. What are you waiting for?

We’ve invited some friends to join in the viewing and gathered all the ingredients after narrowing down what we wanted to make (in a reasonable amount of time) from the FRIENDS: The Official Cookbook by Amanda Yee. We’re not quite brave enough to make a go for Rachel’s trifle, but we’ll be whipping up Tag on a Cracker Tuna Dip from S7E5: “The One With the Engagement Picture” and Shrimp Ceviche in Ponzu Sauce w/ Fried Wonton Skins from S1E15: “The One With the Stoned Guy.” What an awesome episode w/ restaurant-owner Steve, Jon Lovitz, getting high on the way to interview Monica, scarfing down all of Monica’s shrimp ravioli in a matter of seconds, and following it up w/ “Well smack my ass and call me Judy” LOL.

On Location Tours’ FRIENDS Virtual Tour, Package, & Trivia!

With the announcement of the Friends: The Reunion, On Location Tours in NYC was planning an all-FRIENDS tour IRL! Thankfully, they hit the streets, boxed up some sweet swag, and put together a fun virtual locations tour and started hosting a rather tough FRIENDS virtual trivia night! You can choose w/ or w/o the swag box, but it’s so fun getting FRIENDS swag! Tour guide Roseanne is the perfect guide for this 40-minute tour filled with trivia, fun facts, and over a dozen locations (including one of my favorite restaurants Becco in the Theatre District…sigh) so you can get out of second gear and #travelfromhome! As On Location Tours says, “Pour yourself a “quarantini,” order the Joey Special (2 pizzas), bake some Nestlé toll house cookies, and sit back and enjoy! Trust me when I say that you only think you know FRIENDS when it comes to their virtual trivia nights! Good thing they’re all streaming on HBO Max™ for a refresh!

Created for the 25th anniversary of the show, locals & visitors alike have had a chance to check this out in Chicago & NYC and now Atlantans will have their chance! The interactive celebration of FRIENDS, created by Warner Bros. and Superfly X, is two stories and 12 rooms filled w/ props, costumes, set recreations, and of course a killer gift shop! We sure wish they were bringing the NYC Central Perk pop-up to the ATL event, but we’ll make the best of it!
