‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Volume 2 Reportedly Crashes Netflix During Premiere
Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for! Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 is finally streaming on Netflix. But don’t worry, we’re spoiler-free here!
As the much-anticipated conclusion to Season 4 started streaming at 3 am Eastern / 12 am Pacific, Netflix wasn’t quite ready for the traffic it experienced. Blame it on Vecna.
According to Variety, Downdetector.com, which is a global uptime-monitoring site, started receiving reports of stability issues with Netflix right around 3 am Eastern time. There were roughly 13,000 complaints logged that coincided with the release time for the remaining 2 Stranger Things Season 4 episodes.
Thankfully, the streaming giant resolved the issues within half an hour, but in the meantime, the internet was not amused with the technical issues.
